In a world where stress seems to be the norm, people are struggling with sleep deprivation, time management, relationships, and even find the connection between perception and reality a bit skewed. Where does one turn? Using an ancient technique called Yoga Nidra, people are discovering relief, respite, and a chance to recover and reconnect. This practice is simple yet quite profound and is shown to be highly effective in training the mind to access its natural well of creativity, problem solving, memory faculty, and learning abilities.
Yoga Nidra offers space to explore what is needed in the moment, as well as an opportunity to effortlessly release tension and held emotions that often contribute to dis-ease in the body-mind complex. As the body relaxes and the mind quiets, one is able to enter deeper brainwave states, giving the body a chance to rest and experience a sense of peace and well being. This technique is accessible to all.

Once a month Yoga Nidra is offered in a group setting at Naam Yoga Arizona in Mesa.
This is a beautiful ancient meditation practice that leaves you feeling clear, grounded and connected. You will be guided throughout your practice so not to worry, if this is your first time.
WHAT TO EXPECT: As you rest back... in stillness, you'll be guided into deep states of relaxation, where healing and profound restoration can take place. No previous experience is required for this practice. Just show up ready to simply BE and experience peace and tranquility from within.
Props, blankets and bolsters provided. Feel free to bring your own pillow and blanket for additional comfort. The more comfortable you are the easier it is to sink back and drop into that still quiet place within.
